Rated 3 out of 5 by from Taste has lost something. I used to enjoy Cap Colombie but since the change of labelling I haven't enjoyed it the same. I've found the taste is inferior to the Cap Colombie which I managed to get a jar of a few weeks ago. I've been reading the various reviews, some replies are saying it hasn't changed others say it has, very confusing and leaving me somewhat perplexed and disappointed! Has this recipe been changed and why can it not be reverted to the popular Cap Colombie? Why spoil a good thing?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cap Colombie changed to awful Cap Colombia Why change a delicious coffee like Cap Colombie to an awful Cap Colombia? I bought one jar of Cap Colombia hoping that the new branded coffee was simply a change of name and not taste. How wrong I was! We have bought Cap Colombie for many years and it was my favourite coffee. However, for some reason Nescafe have decided to alter the taste and rebrand it as Cap Colombia. I am very disappointed as I now have to find a different brand. It certainly won't be Nescafe unless you alter it back to the previous taste of Cap Colombie. Bear in mind the old adage "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I am certain that many of the Cap Colombie coffee drinkers will be looking elsewhere too. Please change it back so I can continue to enjoy a good cup of coffee once more!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why spoil a great cup of coffee Since Nescafe was very sly in not making the change in taste widely know and just changing one letter in the name of the coffee we made the mistake of buying this assuming it would still be the delightfully fruity cup of coffee we have been enjoying for so many years. How wrong we were. The lovely fruity taste has gone and has been replaced by a cheap tasting bitterness that is often experienced if you are given a supermarket own brand of coffee to drink. the second mistake we made was in pouring this jar in on top of the existing jar of the previous recipe that was on our coffee container so now that has been ruined too. The equivalent of almost two full jars of coffee have gone in the bin and we now have to find a new coffee to drink - however it won't be a Nescafe flavour after the amount we have wasted above.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Change in taste !!! Like other reviewers I have been drinking this for several years & loved it. It is now harsh & bitter since the name has been changed to Cap Colombia. I too will be looking for another smoother blend as this is nasty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Change in name and change in taste Since the product label changed (September 2018) to Nescafé Gold Origins Cap Colombia I have found the taste changed, it’s no longer smooth, in fact it tastes bitter and leaves a burnt taste in the mouth. I would not agree with the label ‘fruity and delicate’! Please can we have the old Cap Colombie back or is it another production problem?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cap Colombie - Lost its taste I have been buying this for years, even taking a stock to Spain as their version was different. But since the change to a new jar/label it has lost all its flavor. I don't like most bitter coffees but this is down near dishwater.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring back the old Cap Colombie We have always loved Cap Colombie and drank it all the time. What have you done to it? Can you just go back to how it was? We've used up all our old jars now, so if you don't give us back the old Cap Colombie, we're going to drink something else from now on...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tastes Stale I have been buying this coffee since Cafe Parisien disappeared from the shelves. It has been a fine compromise until recently when the taste has become very flat and stale. I will be seeking another alternative now.
